MPI Building
17 Maurice Wilson Avenue, Mangere, Auckland
This project won the 2018 WANZ Supreme Award thanks to its impressive quality and modern design. The architect selected several façade elements – louvres, feature glass, flushglaze in varying shapes and sizes from squares and rectangles right through to complex parallelogram & trapezoid shaped windows. The project’s façade success has to be shared with a number of contributing partners, but in particular Metro Performance Glass, who supplied the glass and stunning printed graphic glass.
- Aesthetics: MPI windows are a mixture of parallelogram and trapezoid shapes which create a great feature to the side of the building.
- Visibility: Digitally printed curtain wall as a main aesthetic feature of the project.
Double glazing units, digitally printed glass, and screen printed glass.
